Deposits/Payments
A 1st deposit is due upon booking our services and the 2nd deposit is due 3 months prior to the event and the amounts will be determined by what is ordered. Your 98% deposit of bill is due 5 days prior to the event. The final payment is due 10 days upon receiving the bill. All deposits are made so you can focus on you event that day instead of making any payments and go towards your final bill. Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless we are able to re-book that date and time due to loss of business.
Please note that any payment made with a credit card for $5,000.00 or more will be subject to a 3% transaction fee.

Labor
Lady J's Catering is able to deliver, set-up, serve, pick-up, or any combination of those to meet your needs. We charge $20.00 per staff per hour with a minimum charge of $7.50. Equipment rental delivery, set-up, and pick-up is $30.00 per staff per hour. That time is determined when we leave our building until we return. When we stay and manage a buffet, we serve the meat to insure proper portions. The charges for gratuity to all food and beverage services are based accordingly to your needs.

Due to health regulations, all food must be brought back to the Municipal Country Club and disposed of properly. If you choose to have it donated to a charity, you must let Lady J's Catering know beforehand so arrangements can be made.

China and silverware is free of charge for those events that we service. China and silverware for non-serviced events are $2.50/set. Paper products are $.75/set or $.50/limited. Other rentals are available so please inquire.

Alcoholic Beverages and Services
Lady J's Catering can supply all of your beverage needs. If there is something special you are looking for that is not listed below or is not on our wine list, please inquire.
A special permit fee of $50.00 for Bismarck or $75.00 for Lincoln is charged for us to serve your event at your location.

There will not be any hosted kegs allowed one the dance starts. We do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to request proof of age from everyone.
Absolutely NO brought in alcohol will be allowed unless otherwise pre-approved by Lady J's Catering. Any un-authroized brought in alcohol will be confiscated.
For all events requiring bar services, bar sales & gratuities must reach a required minimum to cover the bartender(s) labor. These minimums will be determined on a case-by-case basis and prorated. A deposit may be required prior to the event.
All guests will be asked for their ID before any alcoholic drink will be served to them. They should be prepared to carry & show their ID. There are NO exceptions to this rule!
A gratuity charge of 17% will be added to all food an beverage dervices. Sales tax of 7.5% and 9.5% on alcohol will be charged.

Security Policies
One security guard per every 100 guests is required for all events with a bar or dance. The security will start 1/2 hour before the event and work until the close of the event. The charge is $30.00 per hour per guard. Gew exceptions are permitted. This charge may increase without prior notice as outside services are secured.
Linen Charges
Linen Tablecloth Rentals @ $6.00 each. Linen Napkin Rentals @ $.50 each. Skirting Rentals @ $30.00 each.
Mileage
All caterings within 5 miles of the Municipal Country Club are free of charge. For caterings beyond 5 mile of Municipal Country Club the rate is as follows:
- $1.50/mile per vehicle
- $1.50/mile per vehicle
Deadlines
We need the menu selections for your function 1 month prior to event, a preliminary count 2 weeks before, and your guaranteed count 5 days before the event. At the time or your guarantee, your count may be increased but not decreased. Any plates added after the 5-day guarantee will be subject to $1.00 per plate charge. If we do not receive a guaranteed count, we will use the original count as your guarantee.
